Shannon is a licensed mental health counselor with expertise in supporting college-aged students and adults as they navigate various life challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, relational issues, and significant life transitions. She enjoys working with individuals from BIPOC, first-generation and LGBTQIA+ communities.
Employing an integrative therapeutic approach, Shannon draws upon a diverse array of methodologies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic frameworks. She is acutely aware that each client’s journey is distinct and personal; therefore, she diligently tailors her clinical strategies to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each individual she works with.
Known for her trauma-informed approach, Shannon embodies qualities of warmth, collaboration, and a client-centered philosophy, ensuring that her clients feel understood, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
