Direct, honest, and compassionate approach
Curious and collaborative style that centers understanding the self
Strong balance of insight-building and practical skill development
Focus on identifying patterns and creating meaningful change
Grounded, supportive presence during times of overwhelm or distress
Megan’s approach is rooted in the belief that many of the challenges people face, whether anxiety, depression, trauma, or burnout are connected to patterns that once served a purpose but may no longer feel helpful. Through a collaborative and insight-driven process, she helps clients better understand how these patterns developed and how they can begin to shift. Her work focuses not only on symptom relief, but on building awareness, flexibility, and more effective ways of navigating both internal experiences and external stressors.
Drawing from her background in clinical research and community-based mental health, Megan integrates evidence-based treatments with a relational and person-centered foundation. She has extensive experience supporting individuals in both outpatient and crisis settings, and previously served in a clinical supervisory role, providing guidance and support to other clinicians.
Therapeutic Approach:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for identifying and shifting thought patterns
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotion regulation and distress tolerance
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) for trauma
Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for PTSD
Behavioral Activation for depression
Person-centered and relational approaches
Psychoeducation to build insight and self-understanding
Megan brings a structured yet flexible approach to therapy, informed by her background in evidence-based practice and research. She works collaboratively with clients to tailor treatment to their individual goals, supporting both insight and lasting change.
Available both in-person and via telehealth, Megan ensures that her warm, empowering presence reaches clients in whatever format feels most comfortable and accessible to them.
