Aprill is a licensed mental health counselor and was Dr. Laura's first hire here at HPA. Aprill is a valued member of our practice, and as a senior clinical supervisor, is dedicated to fostering the growth of clinicians and other supervisors at our practice. She closely mentors clinicians and provides clinical case consultation to ensure high-quality care and a supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Aprill also works with clients and specializes in supporting women in mid-life who may be going through menopause. She is committed to empowering middle-aged women through their unique challenges, helping them find clarity and strength during pivotal life changes. Aprill also enjoys working with graduate students and doctoral students from the many colleges and universities in Boston.

With a focus on anxiety, depression, stress, mood disorders, and life transitions, she employs a range of techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and ACT. She approaches her work with warmth and compassion, making her clients feel cared for and understood.

Aprill sees clients in person and via telehealth.
